Is there a charge for the initial consultation?

Our office does not charge for the initial consultation, whether the consultation is over the telephone or inside our office. We feel as though it is important for our clients to fully understand their rights in regards to their particular situation.

What type of fee should I expect?

Depending on the type of case(s) and services that will be rendered by our office, a determination based on multiple factors will generate the attorney's fees associated with the case(s). At the time of the initial consultation, fees will be discussed with potential clients as well as the deposit / retainer required to start the case(s) and the monthly payment plans available through our office.

How do I pay for my case?

Upon entry of the Employ Attorney Contract, clients shall be responsible for fees mutually agreed upon between the client and the attorney, with payments due at the execution of the contract. Fees for representation may be paid using various methods including: cash, cashier's check, money order, credit card, and/or debt card. 

What are examples of costs that I can expect for my case?

Clients are responsible for any costs associated with their case(s). Costs incurred during litigation of your case(s) generally come from a third party such as police agencies, Clerk of Courts, and Bureau of Administrative Reviews Offices. Clients are informed in advance of potential costs that may be incurred through their litigation process. Some general ideas for costs may include the following:

According the guidelines of Board Certification, a board certified criminal trial lawyer [Jeffery M. Pfister] has met the following qualifications:

actively participated in the specialty of criminal trial law-
handled over 25 criminal cases, with at least 20 jury trials, tried to verdict, with at least 15 of which were felony jury trials during each term of certification;
